*Admissions Specialist – Full Time

Must have active Florida RN License and a Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree is preferred.  Minimum of 2 years nursing experience required.  This position will work full time hours which may include weekends and/or holidays. 

*Front Desk Receptionist - FT

This position will provide needed coverage for our Front Desk and provide filing assistance in Medical Records.  The Receptionist must be able to answer phones, transfer calls to correct person and greet visitors.  The position also requires strong customer service skills and experience with multi-line phone systems. Hours for this position will be 8:30am-5:30pm.

*RN – BBH North – FT

RN needed for full time position.  This position will provide care for patients in Leon County. Must have current Florida RN license. BSN preferred. Minimum of three years nursing experience preferably in Hospice or Home Health.

This position is responsible for the successful leadership and management of the Big Bend Hospice Foundation.  Responsibilities include: facilitation and implementation of long and short-term plans, stewardship of budgets and finances, coordination of Board activities, fundraising, and development for Big Bend Hospice. Serve as the Foundation’s primary advocate and spokesperson in the local and regional community. Must have minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of eight years of leadership experience with five years of increasingly responsible fundraising experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.

*IT Director-FT

This position will oversee all IT (Information Technology) functions. Manage IT team and company’s technology operations and the implementation of new IT systems and policies.  Provides leadership and coordination for IT operations support functions with the goal of providing information management tools and services to enhance the delivery of healthcare and fiscal performance of our agency.  Oversees the technical infrastructure, office automation, network, voice and data telecommunications, and disaster recovery functions. Must have Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field from an accredited institution and 7+  years of management experience in information technology with demonstrated ability to lead, develop and mentor others in a healthcare environment. Knowledge and experience working with EMR, accounting and human resource systems in a healthcare environment preferred.

*Day Time Triage RN-FT

This position will work Monday-Friday, 8a-5p, serving as direct liaison between patients, physicians and nurses to resolve questions concerning medications, health education and medical advice. Duties include recording and maintaining complete and accurate records of patient and physician communications regarding medical care according to BBH documentation requirements. Must have current Florida RN license. BSN preferred.  Prior Triage experience preferred. Minimum of 3 years nursing experience preferably in Hospice or Home Health.
