Teen Woe-Be-Gone: a unique retreat for grieving teens

Teen Woe-Be-Gone is a free community service brought to you by Big Bend Hospice Youth Bereavement
On Thursday, October 31, 2019 from 8:30 am-4:30 pm, Big Bend Hospice Youth Bereavement invites area teens (12-18) that have experienced the death of someone important to them, to attend a one-day grief retreat at Bradley’s Pond in Tallahassee, FL. The loss does not have to be recent to benefit from the event, trained grief counselors and volunteers are present throughout the day. Grief support activities include creative arts, movement, group discussion, animal therapy and a special remembrance ceremony. A light breakfast, lunch and snacks are provided as well as a sweatshirt. There are prize drawings throughout the day. Teens will be transported to and from Big Bend Hospice to Bradley’s Pond.
